SQLinForm SQL Formatter
When i tried to install the SSMS plug-in for my 2019 it complains it can not find "SSMS 19 ("NOT FOUND") on the 'Select SSMS Version page of the install. I do have it install however it is on my secondary drive in D:\MSSSMS 2019. Is there a workaround for this?
Hi @kuanyu, please try this Workaround: Create the folder the installer is looking for:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 19\Common7\IDEThen run the installer again – it will show SSMS 19 as "[Installed]". After installation, copy the files from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 19\Common7\IDE\Extensions\SQLinForm\to your actual SSMS location:
D:\MSSSMS 2019\Common7\IDE\Extensions\SQLinForm\You can delete the dummy folder afterwards.
